Before he found the Market Street Mission, Andrew’s hands shook so badly from drinking that he couldn’t hold a glass of water.
“My life was a mess, and I needed help. Drinking caused more problems than I could ever have imagined.”
Andrew had been in prison. He’d been homeless and slept on the street and in cars. So coming to the Mission and having to sleep on a mat on the floor was actually a step up.
